This is an exciting opportunity to build technical scale in a booming industry and with a rapidly-growing company. Our ideal candidate will be a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position will be directly responsible for the following:
- Oversees digital infrastructure development including software, security, data centers, cloud environments, communication systems and network resources â including all configuration parameters.
- Develops and oversees the effective planning, QA and execution of all digital and technical initiatives to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Approves, coordinates and controls all projects related to selection, acquisition, development and installation of major information systems for the company. Drives the evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of information systems, ensuring appropriate investment in strategic and operational systems.
- Assists and educates internal customers on how to work most effectively with IT to achieve successful outcomes for the company.
- Owns company relationships with various vendors and service providers including negotiating agreements and ensuring accountability.
- Analyzes complex business needs presented by the Operations, Marketing and Sales teams, and owns the development teams that provide the technical solutions.
- Maintains corporate agreements and licenses, including but not necessarily limited to Microsoft, AWS, Adobe, Ecomm, also managing any associated cost allocations.
- Conducts capacity monitoring and planning of the IT environment to ensure appropriate acquisition of IT infrastructure and resources to stay well ahead of channel growth in all of its dimensions â traffic, customer acquisition, conversion, order volume, etc.
- Ensures that all information systems and networks operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies and legal requirements.
- Coordinates between internal and external resources, ensuring effective communication between all groups and individuals involved in IT projects
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in IT Management, Business, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred; related Bachelorâs degree accepted.
- MBA/MS preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience building and leading development teams, ideally in a consumer packaged goods environment. (CPG).
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Security Professional) or CRISC (Certified Risk and Information Systems Control) certification is preferred.
- Experienced in data-driven strategic analysis and customer insight
- Proven track-record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business and financial management skills
- Motivated self-starter, process-oriented with high attention to detail
- Proven leadership of large ERP and eCommerce projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
