The NBA is seeking a strong, data-driven leader to lead the HRIS/Operations function within the People Operations team. This role is critical to scale and grow the processes and systems to deliver an exceptional experience through the employee lifecycle.
This position will be best suited for a strong leader with HR systems experience, specifically SAP and People Soft, and a proven ability to build relationships/partnerships within the organization. We are looking for an innovator in the space that can lead the vision of how to scale People Team Operations and enhance the employee experience through technology.
You will:
- Develop HR technology strategy and roadmap to meet HR technology needs of the business and HR function
- Global data governance of HR master data and supporting business processes; provide oversight to ensure proper protocols are in place that govern data quality
- Prioritize and leverage technology solutions to meet the systems, analytics/reporting and process needs.
- Manage the implementation of new functionality including determining stakeholder and business value, requirements gathering, testing, roll-out, and ensure end-user training and adoption.
- Streamline end-to-end processes; transformation agent responsible for ensuring the continued improvement of HRIS service delivery; directs change management initiatives by developing awareness, understanding, ownership, and accountability for change
- Manage vendor relationships for HR applications and solutions; manage existing contracts and participates in negotiations during the RFP and vendor selection process

Work collaboratively with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), HR Business Partners and HR Leadership teams globally; Contributor in solution/process improvement recommendations.
Drive adoption, communication, and change management of systems implementations across the organization - Coach and mentor team members, playing an active role in developing expertise.
- Analyze and report metrics on HRIS activities in support of strategic decision-making initiatives and for ongoing measurement and continual improvement.
- Ensure internal tools are aligned and providing accurate data to best capture the “Voice of the Customer” concerns and comments.
- Accountable for the business requirements and acceptance criteria across all People Team systems initiatives.
- Drive measurable improvements through automation of business requirements and employee process friction points reducing process cycle times and improving employee satisfaction.
At a minimum you have:
- 15+ years of experience in a progressive People Team environment (5 years minimum experience managing an HRIS global team)
- Has led at least one major HRIS tool implementation
- Must have a deep understanding of People Soft, SAP (Success Factors)
- Strong analytics and data reporting capability
- Experience influencing all levels of organization and experience driving and implementing company-wide changes
- Communication experience and leading change management for business readiness of technology solutions.
- Work effectively in a multi-national team environment, interface with all levels of the organization and lead/influence cross-organizationally with and without direct authority
- Experience managing, and develop individual contributors and leading and managing teams.
- General Human Resources knowledge; ability to understand business operations and how to apply HRIS strategy to drive performance outcomes
- Process and project management experience and has demonstrated experience leading global projects end-to-end with multiple stakeholders
Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree with Major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or Human Resources preferred
