Timeline Design is an award winning, high-end residential Design/Build Company located in Saratoga. Our core competency is to produce remarkable designs and build complex projects in record time. We have experienced significant growth each year for the past 3 years and are looking for a talented Integrator to help us continue our ascent.


About the position:

We are seeking a General Manager/ Integrator who is able to nimbly manage the various departments and their needs while maintaining operational oversight, and managing the day to day operations of our business. If you are passionate about using your operations skills and are passionate about the world of construction we are looking for you. This company is organized in accordance with the concepts from Gino Wickman’s books Traction and Rocket Fuel. The key concept of the Entrepreneurial Operating System and other foundational concepts are employed in our organization. An Ideal candidate would be an integrator in the Entrepreneurial Operating System.


Key initiatives include:

  • Oversee day-to-day aspects of our Saratoga, CA office
  • Play a leadership role in coordinating key processes such as estimating, scheduling, quality control progress reporting, design review, safety and proposal preparation.
  • Work with the Owner early in the process to facilitate the design process with the chosen design professionals
  • Oversee the buyout process and to selection of subcontractors
  • Conduct weekly job site meetings onsite
  • Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
  • Conduct progress meetings with Owners and the construction team
  • Remain cost conscious and aware of every aspect of the project at all times
  • Ability to communicate effectively with everyone involved in the project
  • Able to oversee all operations of the Project Team
  • Attend weekly Project Team meetings with Project Managers to facilitate the meetings, ask questions and forecast any potential issues with the projects


Qualifications

  • 5-15 years of design/build experience
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to effectively make sound decisions under tight deadlines
  • Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
  • Exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes. Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external customer expectations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project planning and management skills are a must; ability to breakdown complex problems into manageable goals is required.
  • Ability to synthesize various, independently generated, data points into a cohesive analysis.
  • Significant proficiency with Microsoft Products required.
  • Demonstrate strategic thought and a big-picture perspective on issues and potential solutions.
