Manage the spectrum engineering team in the following task areas:
  • Improvement and integration of spectrum management into Departmental EA
  • Improvement of interoperability, spectrum resource sharing, and spectrum support for emergency planning.
  • Facilitation of technical exchanges across multiple federal agencies
  • Coordination of the response to requests or submissions from federal agencies.
  • Interpretation and implementation of guidance from the Manual of Regulations and Procedures
  • Development and implementation of policies consistent with mission needs and for effective use of the spectrum
  • Providing recommendations to spectrum-dependent resources.
  • Responding to technical queries
  • Assignment of frequencies for conceptual, experimental, developmental, and operational systems
  • Perform resource assignments and audit capabilities
  • Maintenance of appropriate records in the database and other relevant spectrum

Basic Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant work or military experience with Spectrum Management
  • 4 years experience performing Spectrum Supportability Risk Assessments
  • 4 years experience performing Perform Spectrum work, submit and track proposals.
  • 4 yrs. experience performing spectrum transition and spectrum management through development, review, and submission of documentation
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills

Preferred Skills & Qualificaitons:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates’ with an additional 2+ years of experience or 10+ years overall experience
  • PMP certification
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Proficiency with Spectrum XXI database
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
