Kernel is looking for a proactive, upbeat, and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our CEO/Founder, Bryan Johnson. He is looking for an extraordinary EA to help build the company with him. The role includes everything you’d imagine as an EA but likely a lot more. The right candidate has a high confidence level in addressing unplanned issues with sound judgment and tact under limited direction. They are capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects in a dynamic, ever-changing environment, and is a natural self-starter with strong
administrative skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Scheduling and executive administrative support for the CEO
- Maintain and manage calendars, make reservations as needed, and manage complex travel itineraries.
- Take initiative and offer assistance where needed; adding value whenever possible
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience as an executive assistant with previous experience supporting Executive level in a startup environment.
- Proficient experience with the Google Apps suite of applications (Gmail, GCal, Docs, Spreadsheets, etc).
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; good listener.
- Excellent organizational skills with focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Resourceful and able to maintain grace under pressure.
- Proven ability to succeed in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Top-tier problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently under general instructions.
- Accuracy, productivity and dependability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
