KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Sector Marketing to join our Business Tax Services organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support member firm Partners and development teams to develop strategies and business plans for key clients in the development sector
- Work in partnership with KPMG member firms to identify and win major client opportunities
- Establish and develop valuable long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the development community
- Collaborate with global knowledge management to provide for the shared access of knowledge to improve sales and project delivery
- Provide key inputs into the development of thought leadership in international development to enhance the KPMG brand and improve our positioning with key development organizations
- Deliver support to member firms to build capability and knowledge of the development sector and issues faced by clients
Qualifications:
- Minimum of fifteen years of experience in the international development sector, preferably working with a range of global development organizations
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Master’s degree is preferred
- Significant direct working experience in IFIs, UN or other development institutions required, and a thorough understanding of knowledge management and of international development, World Bank, USAID, DFID or other foreign assistance programming preferred
- Proven ability to successfully lead major proposals and projects; preferably in the development sector in a range of country environments
- Experience working in developing countries and/or fragile states at team leader level
- Fluency in a foreign language and/or experience living or working in developing countries is preferred and a willingness to undertake travel to developing countries up to 30%
