The Credit Manager is responsible for the administration of credit and collection activities of aged receivables. The Credit Manager evaluates customer data to establish terms and credit limits within department guidelines and works closely with all departments to the benefit of our numbers and our customers.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collections on all past due accounts/review and maintain AR/aging
  • Responsible for account reconciliation and entry of accounts receivables
  • Perform credit investigations to determine a credit limit and terms for prospective accounts
  • Handle complaints and arbitrate disputes on outstanding debts
  • Make or recommend decisions to reduce bad debt
  • Work closely with Inside and Outside Sales on the status of their perspective accounts
  • Have knowledge of local lien laws and file when necessary
  • Develop healthy relationships with customers and co-workers
  • Maintain or improve DSO
  • Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures
