Celebrate with Us
LFCC is embarking on the celebration of our 50 Years of Impact. In the fall of 1970, LFCC first opened its doors at the Middletown Campus to begin classes with 577 students. Beginning, January 2020, LFCC will celebrate 50 years of cultivating educational opportunity and economic vitality within our community. We look forward to reflecting on our past, celebrating the present and moving forward with a renewed dedication to our community and student achievement.
Fiscal year 2020 was one of the strongest years for higher education in state budget recent history. There were no increases to tuition or fees for students, $4 million statewide increase to training grants, compensation increases for employees and health premiums remained unchanged. LFCC ranks 8 out of Virginia’s 23 Community Colleges in the amount of performance based funding received.
LFCC continues to prepare for the future; our facilities and campus improvement projects include new construction of the Luray Page County Center in Luray, VA as well as the anticipated Hazel Hall Building at our Fauquier Campus in Warrenton, VA.
