    Assistant Project Manager

We provide quality and timely tooling solutions to the automotive, aerospace, heavy truck, packaging, and home appliance industries. Based in Ft. Loramie, OH, Tooling Technology Inc. uses vertical integration to provide a one stop resource for our customers to get all their thermoformed plastic tooling needs in one convenient location.

    As an Assistant Project Manager, your job will be to learn and train under the existing Project Managers to help support their daily work functions. Project Managers are the customer’s primary contact throughout the tooling process from initial quote through delivery, and serve as a liaison between customers and Tooling Technology’s sales team, engineering department, and shop personnel. The key activities and responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to the following:

    · General administrative duties including filing

    · Data and information entry into our online CRM system and ERP program

    · Answering customer calls when they have questions

    · Tracking projects as they move through the shop

    · Working up customer quotes and delivering them to the customer

    · Communicating with team members on the shop floor and in the office

    · Collecting and analyzing project data

    · Prospecting and contacting new potential customers

    · Emailing customers and team members about project status

    · Forecasting and scheduling project timelines

    · Editing the machine schedule and other company documents

    · Visiting and meeting with customers as needed

    · Supporting the daily operations of the office team

    · Assisting the Sales Manager with sales related activities

    Prior work experience and expertise should include:

    · Minimum of a high school diploma and/or technical certificate in a business or manufacturing related subject

    · Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in either a general business or manufacturing setting (Recent or upcoming college graduates meeting the education requirements above are eligible to apply.)

    · Engineering or plastic industry experience preferred but not mandatory
