Position Overview

As the area manager, Grand Rapids, you’ll be responsible for the local Flashfood marketplace in your area. This will include training employees, gathering feedback, launching campaigns and executing deployments. You’ll be scrappy, independent, and excited about having a big impact and helping to solve difficult problems. We are looking for candidates that have great people skills which they are looking to apply in a meaningful way.

On the Flashfood operations team, we are focused on creating an amazing, effortless experience for our customers and retail partners. We act as a bridge between shoppers, retail partners, and our technology. You could say that we are the glue that binds it all together. We believe that feedback is the key to building a great product and we are relentless in our pursuit of feedback from all parties.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for supporting the marketplace in your area
• You will own the engagement and performance of stores in your area
• Effectively scale training processes
• Manage deployment for any new locations or campaigns in existing locations
• Gather and communicate productive feedback
• Manage relationships with all levels of employees at our retail partners
• Be a brand ambassador for Flashfood in the community

Skill Requirements

What You’ll Need

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You think excel is fun and you are proud to say it
• You have a Degree, Diploma, or equivalent work experience
• You love working with people, your friends would call you a people person.
• You have high energy
• You are confident but humble

Travel

• You will travel regionally on a daily basis
• This role will be based remotely, you’ll be able to work from home or in a coffee shop when you are not in a store
• May require occasional travel outside of your area
