Project Manager to supervise upkeep of residential, buildings, and projects. Report directly to Superintendent. For apartment complexes. Superintendent will ensure that the property is in compliance with company standards and public business ordinances. Project Manager must have at least 3 years of work experience with electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation systems. Experience with blue prints is desired.

Responsibilities of Construction Project Manager

*Project Manager delegates daily repair tasks to maintenance staff and make sure that the building is kept clean and presentable looking at all times.

*Work with contractors for completing larger renovation projects. Job also involves scheduling building worker shifts and keeping maintenance costs within budget.

*As new workers are hired and instructed, Superintendent is to keep leadership, and sometimes take a hand in routine tasks, such as fixing leaky pipes, painting rooms, patching drywall and fitting locks.

*Project Manager should also be familiar with a building’s blueprints since they need to efficiently locate, identify and assess any potential problems with the infrastructure.

*Superintendent is to be available to be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week in case of a building emergency.
