The Role

Helios Data is rapidly accelerating its growth and is adding to all its customer facing teams

– sales, sales engineering, marketing and service support. You will work as the lead team member managing customer relationships, developing and closing a sales pipeline against a quota and influencing key decision makers across the industry both directly and at industry and corporate events. The candidate must have a clear understanding of both the data privacy industry and technical solutions supporting the most advanced applications of

AI, automation, networking and security.

Contribution and Responsibilities:

➢ Uncover net new business opportunities and successfully take through the sales cycle to closure including proposal development and product demonstrations

➢ Qualify sales opportunities, setting customer expectations, handling negotiations and accurately forecasting to management

➢ Act as the business expert on Helios Data Platform (HDP) during sales calls, presentations and initial deployments

➢ Offer advice to customers on best practices, optimal use case aligned to satisfy their needs and align with their current business objectives

➢ Drive customer confidence and maximize success

➢ Focus on customer satisfaction ensuring smooth launch roadmap

➢ Transition deployments from sales to technical the team

➢ Bring back insights for future product roadmap and priority items

➢ Scout competitive solutions, products and services – relaying advantages of HDP

Requirements and Skills:

➢ Deep understanding of advanced big data automation, AI, network infrastructure, security, identity management, DLP

➢ Ability to gain the trust and confidence across teams of decision makers (C-suite,

CDO, CISO, Head of Compliance) and win mandates

➢ Strong communication and organization skills across multiple audiences – technical teams, business teams and C-suite executives

➢ Passionate interest in automation and data innovation and its highest and best use to solve critical customer problems

➢ Minimum 3 years’ experience working as BtoB technical sales/consultant in large enterprise networking, privacy, security and big data enterprise IT environment

➢ Hands on experience with new product introductions, POC planning and execution and high paced GTM environments

➢ Experience closing tech sales across environments – Linux, VMware, container frameworks, SQL datastores, Hadoop Tech – all, Cloud Tech – all,

➢ BS – Business, CS or related discipline. (MBA a plus)

➢ Travel of 20% to 50% globally
