Summary:

In this role, you will have a pivotal leadership role in the realization and success of Vizient’s Rebate Management business strategy. You will provide direction to a broad set of critical functions within the business including; commercial sales, product strategy, business operations, and market operations. You will oversee the strategy development and execution for Rebate Management business by understanding the provider and supplier needs and market opportunities. You will explore new market expansion and build the business case for ongoing investment.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Rebate Management, specific financial and accounting functions for million(s) dollar business that intends to grow over the next 5 years; includes revenue /expense management and forecasting.
  • Lead core rebate management team; along with coordinating cross-functional teams (including Commercial, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Development) of executives working with both providers and suppliers to achieve goals. You will work towards growing the business into a multi-million dollar business over the next 5 years.
  • Implement strategic solutions/ programs in support of driving rapid adoption; you will collaborate closely with marketing and commercial teams to execute.
  • Monitor and manage customer engagement to ensure high levels of service.
  • Direct the team towards continuous process improvement with a focus on the quality and scalability of the business.
  • Ensure linkage with other Vizient business areas (including support functions) to support strategic direction.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred; advanced degree desired.
  • 15 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Healthcare supply chain contracting preferred.
  • Experience with contract negotiations, product development, and process improvement desired.
  • Willingness to travel.
