Purpose:

This role will lead the Business Development team across the organization consisting of the Builder, Multi-Family, Hospitality, International & Pro Initiative segments. This role leads a team that is responsible for driving specifications, contracts, a pro strategy and execution across all channels and relationships with key indirect customers and influencers. Customers would include home builders, multi-family developers, plumbing contractors and installers, hospitality developers and international customers in Puerto Rico, Mexico and Latin America. In this role, the leader will build and develop growth strategies, policies and procedures relative to these key segments to be executed across Direct Sales Regions using strategic decision making. The leader has ownership of program development, selling expenses and GTN budgets for contract sales.

In addition, this leader will lead all aspects of the strategy and execution for the pro initiative. While the pro initiative resides in the trade channel, the strategy and execution will encompass retail, trade and eCommerce in order to gain share regardless of where the pro purchases.

This role will own the oversight of all Strategic & National Account managers for segments listed, as well as the Latin America, Caribbean and Mexico Int’l sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic development and implementation for key segments (Builder & Light Commercial, SGI Development)
  • Develop vision and build alignment across Omni Channel
  • GTN Budget/Portfolio Management across channel (approx. $60MM)
  • Corporate relationships with key Indirect customers
  • Build and execute performance management and personal development plans for each direct report
  • Develop annual revenue and expense budgets for respective team
  • Systematically identify process gaps/waste and drive improvements
  • Collaborate where appropriate with other Masco divisions to share knowledge, information and support to build high-reaching advantage for Delta Faucet Company with Indirect Customers
  • Monitor market conditions, and competitors’ products, prices, sales & programs
  • Prepare sales budgets & reports

Education and Experience:

  • 4-year degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Sales management and customer facing experience at the C-Level
  • Sales planning, execution, management and working strategically with an in-direct reporting sales force
  • Ability to lead without direct authority
  • Ability to travel up to 40% is required
  • Conversational Spanish proficiency is preferred
