About the team
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Business Analytics to join the Zillow Offers Product Management team. You will be responsible for working with our product and operations teams to understand key growth drivers, and provide the teams with actionable and strategic insights into high priority initiatives. You are a versatile thinker who can analyze a variety of business problems, present insights, and work closely with cross-functional teams to provide strategic guidance. In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to drive meaningful initiatives by working closely with senior leaders across the company to provide data-driven decision making.
About the role
The successful candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for tackling large ambiguous projects that directly impact consumer behavior. You love data, but are also customer-focused, and can tie your analysis back to the human story behind the numbers. We seek versatile thinkers who can structure and analyze a variety of business problems, as well as:

Lead deep dives into data to provide insights to business partners on strategic priorities

Develop business models for new ventures and pilots

Develop recommendations for improvements to existing processes to manage risk exposures

Define new metrics and build dashboards and reports to provide better visibility into business performance

Own monthly performance reporting around key metrics. Collaborate with product managers, data science, operations leads, and finance to understand how product and ops changes impact monthly performance

Conduct industry benchmarks and competitive research to influence long term changes to the business
Who you are

MBA preferred
-
5-7 years of relevant experience in business analytics, management consulting, FP&A or similar role

Proficiency with SQL and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau)

Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience building business models with scenario analysis

Expert at PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations to leadership

Mission-driven, enthusiastic to learn and grow; team-oriented with a positive attitude

Ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization and make actionable recommendations

Effectively managing a team of analyst looking to grow professionally
