    Reliability Excellence Manager

    Position Summary:
    As Reliability Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for driving Reliability and sharing Reliability and Maintenance Best Practices across Building and Construction Systems (BCS) as a part of our client’s organization. The position can be based in Atlanta (Norcross,GA), Pittsburgh (Cranberry, PA), Springdale, AR or Bloomsburg PA. You would be accountable for managing the Reliability Excellence Program across multiple sites that includes capturing and leveraging Reliability and Maintenance Best Practices while anchoring the solutions to sustain a high level of Reliability.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Working with the Center of Excellence Manager, develop plans and policies to continuously improve the reliability of the manufacturing processes.
    • Deliver sustainable, benchmark performance in Reliability and develop metrics through a clear strategy, management framework, and accountability.
    • Develop and document Reliability Best Practice policies and procedures and changes in policies and procedures to ensure effective evaluation of the Reliability Program.
    • Develop and train local Reliability Engineers in Reliability Best Practices to achieve Reliability Excellence.
    • Problem-solving support at a coaching level
    • Capture best practices, with sharing and standardization across system
    • Establish and monitor Reliability metrics that drive sustainable reliability improvements Required Education, Skills and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
    • Minimum of 10 years industry experience in a manufacturing/plant environment
    • Field experience such as Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Manager, Project Engineer or Production Engineer
    • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification
    • Experience leading Reliability Excellence programs for a large multi-site company or BU
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a manufacturing environment with a passion to put that experience to work to lead multiple locations to achieve Reliability Excellence.
    • Thorough understanding of Reliability Excellence and Maintenance Best Practices
    • Solid understanding and practical application of Reliability principles and tools
    • Thorough knowledge of industry best practices and active in continuing education to stay current with changing best practices
    • Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to pull various pieces together and see the big picture impact
    • Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously across locations
    • Ability to work independently and coach, train and energize diverse resources to develop and influence a high-performing team
    • Ability to effectively communicate in multi-cultural environments across multiple locations and all levels of the organization
    • Ability to travel 75% of time supporting locations
    • Demonstrated experience leading systems and change management initiatives
    • Strong analytical skills; including experience in statistical process controls, reliability modeling and prediction, fault tree analysis, Weibull analysis, Six Sigma methodology and leading change
    • Proven ability to collaborate, lead, coach, facilitate, and communicate with individuals across all levels of the organization This position description represents a summary of the major components and requirements of the outlined job.
