Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, The Regional Security Manager (RSM) serves as the leader of the security team responsible for security operations at Catalysts (CC) sites in North America. S/he will counsel and influence CC site management teams in North America on all security-related matters to protect employees, contractors, visitors, customers, physical /financial assets and precious metals at CC sites in North America.

Qualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent


Formula for Success

  • Successfully engaging within the organization, you will collaborate with the North American Security Team to oversee cost-effective, pragmatic and operationally sound risk mitigation strategies for precious metals security operations at Catalysts sites.
  • Your unwavering commitment to compliance will be evident as you ensure regional compliance with BASF’s RCMS and CFATS programs and provide guidance to CC site management.
  • Working independently, but also as a member of the North America Security Team and the Global CC security organization, you will guide the implementation of the Security Operation Management System at CC sites in North America.
  • Leveraging your education, related experience, and familiarization with best practices and security requirements in the precious metals industry, you will conduct regional internal investigations and associated security investigations for the North America Catalysts sites in coordination with Legal, Internal Audit and Compliance.
  • Imparting sound judgment and discretion in handling high-level, sensitive matters, you will conduct security assessments and site familiarizations at North America CC sites.
