Ric-Man Construction, Inc. is seeking qualified Project Managers for the the following types of Heavy Civil Construction Projects:

– Underground Utility Installation (Watermains, Storm Sewers, Sanitary Sewers, Tunnels, Ect..)

– MDOT Projects

– Pump Station Construction (Rehabilitation and New Construction)

– CSO Rehabilitation Construction

– Cured In Place (CIP) sewer and watermain lining construction

– Micro Tunnel and Conventional Tunneling Construction

The job will entail the following but is not intended as an all inclusive list:

– Creating and implementing project schedules

– Coordinating project submittals

– Coordinating work activities with site superintendents and foreman

– Developing work plans for different construction activities as needed on a project by project basis

– Meeting with the Project Owners as required

– Meeting with local authorities having jurisdiction over projects

– Administrative duties such as preparing project budgets, cost to complete budgets, preparing project correspondence and preparing and submitting change orders.

– Meeting with executive team members to review and update project progress

– Reviewing, understanding and implementing project contracts and specifications

– Coordinating and scheduling project subcontractors and suppliers

– Preparing and implementing project subcontracts and purchase orders

The following are minimum qualifications:

– 3 years experience in the Heavy Civil Construction Industry

– Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Powerpoint

– Proficient in the use of HeavyJob and HeavyBid or similar software

– Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 Project Schedule Software

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • construction: 3 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Required travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
