As the Operations Manager, you own delivery of our mission. You show bias for action and set the company up to successfully deliver exceptional moving experiences in one or more markets in which we serve. A day in the life of an Operations Manager includes setting your market’s strategic direction, driving company initiatives, fostering sales & business development opportunities, tailoring operations to meet ever-changing market needs, motivating employees to be their best selves, driving performance across the organization, hiring talented team members, driving strategic partnerships and wearing any hat necessary to deliver the most stress-free moving experience possible.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day activities to exceed established operating goals, standards, sales & profits. This is accomplished primarily through:
- Performance management and leadership
- Hiring, training & motivating employees
- Delivering sales & operational excellence
- Oversight of risk and regulatory compliance
- Representing the company in the market
- Managing daily operations & adapting them when necessary
- Assisting with moves as needed
- Handling escalations in a timely & professional way
Qualifications and Skills
- 2-3 years of leadership or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Excellent communication, customer service and decision making skills
- Self starter with bias for action
