Position Purpose:
The Office Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate all administrative supportive services of our organization and support Accounting tasks.


Principle Accountability and Responsibility:

  • Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Oversee and coordinate all the offices administrative activities including organizing meetings and managing databases and communicate effectively with staff, suppliers and clients.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Purchase, distribute, store and track office supplies.
  • Analyze internal processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations, such as supply changes or the disposal of records.
  • Plan, administer, and control cost/ budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Make recommendations to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new staff.
  • May participate in the hiring and separation of clerical or administrative personnel under their supervision.
  • They will organize work priorities and manage expenses accordingly.
  • Assist the office staff with calendar and travel management and scheduling.
  • Support other office administrative support services as requested (e.g. organization and employee events).

Education and Experience:


Required:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in an office managerial support role.
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting and payroll.
  • Supply management experience.

Key Skills and Knowledge:


Required:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong Analytical skills and must be able to review the office s procedures and find ways to improve efficiency.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to pay attention to details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Internet research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strongly Encouraged:

  • French is a plus
