Overview
This position works directly with our Veterans program to strategize, create, package and promote engaging and relevant content that expresses Emory Healthcare Veterans Programâs brand identity as a national center of excellence for research and treatment of PTSD and other invisible wounds. This position will also work as a liaison with Wounded Warrior Project and Warrior Care Network along with the Emory Brain Helath Center.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Conducts marketing research.
- Markets programs to targeted audiences.
- Provides input into branding and strategy development for various organizational initiatives.
- Identifies and develops relationships or partnerships with key entities to further the objectives of the division, school or business unit.
- Develops programs and events to support organizational goals, to broaden the organization’s exposure, or to promote the organization’s image.
- Assists with or oversees the development of effective promotional materials.
- Provides leadership in the design of publications or web based communications.
- May develop proposals, press releases, marketing kits, and other communication materials.
- May oversee and administer a budget.
- May supervise or provide direction to staff.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or other related field.
- Four years of relevant work experience which includes program development, the development of effective customer relationships, or public relations/institutional advancement experience.
- Project management or event planning experience.
- Effective public speaking skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
