Information Technology Manager (IT Manager)

Downtown Defense Law Firm is seeking an experienced IT Manager to be a key contributor for all IT (Information Technology) functions for the firm. The IT Manager is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions to include supervising other IT staff, directing all IT operations to meet staff requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. This position will report directly to the Firm Administrator and will be a key member of the management team. Your operations and system maintenance experience will be key to helping our systems grow as we continue to expand.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

-Monitoring network and data security on a regular basis

-Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve the IT infrastructure

-Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guidelines for the firm

-Overseeing and determining time frames for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages

-Managing the allocation of the IT budget

-Providing direction and supervision for all IT staff

-Identifying opportunities for staff training and skills advancement

-Troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to internal IT functions and developing solutions

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science or related field preferred

-10+ years experience working in an IT role; 5+ years experience managing IT operations

-Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the legal industry preferred

-Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies

-Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems

-Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

-Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize

-Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year
