Overview
Avalon Health Care Management is looking to hire a HRIS Director to join our outstanding team!
The HRIS Director is responsible for the management and administration of the company-wide HRIS systems and Talent Management system. This role requires that you have strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data, identify discrepancies, and present solutions that consider our varying business requirements. You will serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical point of contact ensuring data integrity, system testing, report writing, and data analysis for changes. Develop and process workflows.
Responsibilities
HRIS Administration
- Maintain Human Resources Information System as systemâs administrator, to meet the information needs of the facilities and the corporate office as well as subsidiaries. Head user team for any upgrades as needed.
- Assist the users of the HRIS system in solving any issues that they may be experiencing
- Provide technical assistance and support in the development of HRIS reports for subsidiaries; perform troubleshooting on existing report sets as needed.
- Extract data from HRIS System on a company-wide basis as requested
- Perform File Import processes as requested from subsidiaries, for large volume updates or changes.
- Create, design, test and maintain required interfaces
- Implementation of any new companies/subsidiaries as needed; coordination between benefit vendors and HRIS system to accommodate/update all existing systems and processes.
- Partner with Payroll Shared Services to support payroll requirements, including functional and regulatory compliance.
- Perform the duties of Security Administrator for the HRIS system.
- Liaison between Finance, Payroll and IS Department and HRIS Company Data Exchange
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing data file feeds as related to the
HRIS System
- HRIS feeds to all financial data mining systems, benefits vendors and administration systems, talent management systems, training and development systems
- Communicate with vendors, programmers and service providers as needed to resolve issues and update programs as needed.
- Manage processes to establish additional data feeds as needed, including coordination between vendors, and testing and validation of file layouts and data. Work with internal staff to establish new processes and procedures as needed.
- Participate in year-end planning with vendors and service providers; process all year-end updates in HRIS system in coordination with vendors to ensure timely communication of all required fields.
Talent Management System Administration
- Maintain Talent Management System as a systems administrator and performs related duties.
- Lead the development, testing and implementation of TMS modules and processes.
- Provide technical assistance and support to division TMS administrators.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user procedures and related documentation to ensure consistent use of TMS throughout the enterprise.
- Programming/Development: On occasion, observe and assist IT developers through coding, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting business applications.
Other areas of expertise
- Prepare reporting data to be implemented in PrimeView
- Responsible for the administration of various reports in compliance with federal and state laws. (i.e., EEO-1 Report and VETS4212 Report).
- Provide data file input for annual employee data reconciliation processes, Non-Discrimination Testing process and the Total Rewards annual communication program.
- Provide technical assistance in various platform projects as requested.
- Maintenance and configuration of Time and Attendance configuration, upgrades and installation
- HRIS interface mapping, troubleshooting, documenting. Interacting with all parties to ensure the systems are successfully transmitting the correct data by all systems.
- Data Analysis: Understand business application data to ensure accuracy, quality and opportunities to integrate between the systems.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field.
- 5+ years of ATS, HCM, HRIS or other related system configuration experience
- 5+ years of HR Business processes experience
- Experience with configuration or maintenance of HRIS or HCM systems, including but not limited to Core HRIS, Performance Management, Applicant Tracking, & Learning Management
- Knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, & other HR-related systems and tools
- Expert understanding of HR and Payroll processes
- Expert customer focus, interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to work independently
- Strong computer skills and technical expertise
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to discretely manage high levels of confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Expert in Word & Excel; Excel to include VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables; Excel Power Pivot preferred
- Data science & analytics
- 5+ yearsâ experience with HRIS Reporting â intermediate to expert level
- Integrated data experience and understanding of downstream impacts
- SQL experience a plus
