Help Desk Manager | IT Manager
Responza has an opening for an IT Service Desk Manager. We are a fast-growing IT managed services company in Charleston providing you the opportunity to drive IT success for organizations nationally. We are AWS, Microsoft, Dell, Cisco and VMware partners, as well as members of the Open Management Consortium and other industry orgs.
We provide IT support to small and midmarket business customers including end user support, systems administration, security, cloud deployments and systems engineering.
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is a hands-on, first line technical position managing a small team of HD staff and Systems Admins supporting CUSTOMER environments. You are the go-to member of the team for technical direction and customer administration.
Your skills are deep in SMB IT.
You have excellent troubleshooting skills and deep experience with the Microsoft Server stack, AWS/Azure cloud, Office 365, virtualization, active directory/group policy, security administration, and network applications. Familiarity with remote administration tools necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- IT/IS Associates Degree or equivalent.
- ITIL or similar management process.
- Great customer service focus; Understand customer needs and translate to action. Commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Hands-on technical skills, knowledge and capabilities.
- Manage a small team of skilled help desk and system admins in different locations.
- Excellent organization, time management and follow-up skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for improving processes.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- 5+ years IT and network operations experience with server, networking and client deployment and operations management.
- Deep technical skills with
- Microsoft Server Systems stack. Server, Network, Workstation.
- Virtualized systems management, HyperV and VMware
- AWS, O365, Azure and similar cloud systems.
- Storage management
- Deep understanding of networking technologies for single and multi-site environments (VPN, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, layer2/3 switches, network monitoring SonicWall, Cisco)
- Everything security.
- MCSA, MCSE in Microsoft Server.
- Systems management and remote administration tools
- All things security
