Overview
ATI is seeking a Head of Advanced Analytics, Data, and Architecture to join our team. The Head of Advanced Analytics, Data, and Architecture is a newly created position to enable ATI’s digital transformation by leading and creating the strategies, architecture, and solutions to drive digital transformation and Industry 4.0 for ATI. Reporting to the Chief Digital and Information Officer, this position will support the business unit Digital/IT leads by providing these key services on their behalf.
- Accountable for the Big Data and Analytics Strategy that will enable ATI’s Digital Transformation.
- Responsible for ATI’s analytics platforms and implementation and understands the science and business benefits behind technology alternatives.
- Aligns the analytics strategic vision with the overall business strategy of the organization and is responsible for delivering services to other business units that historically provided their own infrastructure support.
- Work closely with the Head of Cyber Security to accelerate the transformation and improve the data analytics experience while maintaining world class Cyber Security standards and protection.
- Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth using advanced analytics.
- Ensures that enterprise data is governed and aligned to provide Digital capabilities such as predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Develop methods, processes, and teams to transform the way that ATI creates, consumes, and governs data.
- Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations and develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
- Help define continuing evolution of IT to meet the changing business needs of the enterprise.
- Frequently deals with IT vendors and suppliers, cloud services, and outsourcing agencies to enable and deliver the digital strategy; manages the contract life-cycle related to these 3rd party services.
- Maintains relationships with all other external stakeholders.
- Stays informed regarding the latest IT sector happenings and industry best practices by attending technology conferences and seminars.
- The ability to roll up your sleeves and get involved to mentor and deliver.
- Manage operations staffing, including recruitment, supervision, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
- Direct, motivate, and develop key staff including peers and supervisors, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues and team.
- Take an active leadership role in determining overall company technology, strategies, and specific objectives for individual projects.
- Manage the implementation of the strategic plan.
- Development of Policies and Procedures driving standards and monitoring adherence across the corporation.
- Influence and support the culture, values, and standards of the IT organization.

- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, information technology, or business discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience working in enterprise IT, including progressive leadership roles working with large teams, managing budgetary responsibility and driving transformation.
- Advanced degree in engineering or information technology.
- Relevant professional certification.
- Minimum five years’ experience in the manufacturing, utility, or telecommunications industries.
- Prior public cloud experience in a regulated industry, critical infrastructure sector or DOD contractor.
- Executive level leadership of Enterprise Architecture and IT/Digital experience driving innovation processes.
- Strong working knowledge of all aspects of big data and analytics and the ability to apply this knowledge in a distributed environment.
- An articulate communicator and able to explain the company’s digital vision and strategy both within and outside the company.
- Possess the savvy to work across organizational lines within the company and influence key internal executives and business line managers.
- Able to execute and drive implementation of the agreed-upon strategies.
- Experience in dealing with key, notable regulatory organizations.
- Knowledge and expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cyber security, and/or digital innovation.
