    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The Group Practice Manager will work closely with the advanced practice providers, physicians, and nursing staff of their medical practice.
    • The Group Practice Manager handles the day-to-day business according to office and medical guidelines.
    • The Group Practice Manager should possess the ability to work as part of a team and embrace a culturally diverse setting.
    • Responsible for making sure the practice is running smoothly and successfully while also working to expand the business.
    • Oversees billing and collections, assist in designing patient services, and implementing work policies and procedures for their staff.
    • Assists with patient scheduling, technical electronic health record issues, and daily patient flow.
    • Manages daily staffing to ensure optimal operation of the practice.
    • Regularly reviews productivity, make staffing and/or scheduling adjustments as needed.
    • Serves as a member of the Leadership Team.
    • Conducts regular staff meetings and annual performance evaluations for the team to ensure continuity.
    • Builds a rapport with the cleaning staff to ensure that the offices are being cleaned appropriately.
    • Performs deposit reconciliation and ensures that the deposits are taken to the bank daily for all sites managed.
    • Monitoring and ordering office supplies.
    • Monitoring schedules daily of all providers to meet productivity.
    • Demonstrates and maintains the standards and requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, (HIPPA); while ensuring the protection and security of personal, confidential and identifiable information in a professional and responsible manner and carry out all measures to prevent from unauthorized disclosures
    • Enhances acumen and practical knowledge of practice management and leadership through reading and participation in seminars, workshops.
    • To understand and demonstrate compliance with both Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA) and ReGenesis Health Care program requirements.
    • Be a steward for the mission of ReGenesis Health Care.
    • Must be able to speak read, write, and understand English.
    • ACCESS TO PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION:
    • Group Practice manager role has access to (full, demographic only, etc.) health information with the clear understanding that access and reading is limited to need for treatment, reimbursement or operations.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Proven diplomatic approach to complex situations.
    • Ability to work independently and with a team collaboratively.
    • Confidence to bring project issues to management and implement innovative approaches.
    • Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and embrace a culturally diverse setting.
    • Ability to work M- F from 8am-5pm with flexibility to work project needs.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Associates Degree or higher educational attainment required. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
    • Minimum of two years of office management experience, preferably in a medical environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Office work environment; sitting for a large percentage of workday with sedentary work. Ability to sit at a computer terminal/desk for an extended period of time. Regular, predictable attendance is required.
    • The ability to provide effective written, oral, nonverbal communication with patients and their families, colleagues, health care providers, and the public.
    • Must be able to speak read, write and understand English.
    • Visual acuity to work with general office technology resources including fax, copier, PC/Laptop, and telephone. Must have manual dexterity for use of keyboard. Ability to communicate via phone, mail and in person to resolve disputes, solve problems, etc.
    • Capacity to function in a sometimes stressful, multi-tasking environment.
