JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- 50% of the role will be performing Controller responsibilities and 50% will be acting as the Operations Manager.
- Accounting responsibilities – AP, AR, Financial Reporting, Payroll Processing, etc.
- HR tasks – recruiting, contractor and employee onboarding, compliance, insurance renewals, etc.
- IT coordination – maintain inventory of hardware and software, handle subscription renewals, manage the rollout of any new software, etc.
- Back office support and facilities oversight
- Continuous focus on cost reductions, process improvements, and achieving greater efficiencies
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a BA in Accounting or Finance
- CPA is a plus
- Prior CPA Firm experience is a huge plus
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Controller or Director of Operations role
- Strong technical skills – QuickBooks Online, MS Office products, Outlook
- Detail-oriented
- Effective communicator
Salary is $85-95,000, depending on experience plus benefits.
