About the team

FIS is searching for optimistic individuals with strong collaboration, mediation and teamwork skills to fill entry level Scrum Master positions within our Banking and Payments Software Development organization. You can look forward to an exciting and dynamic career working on a variety of FinTech solutions that are used by financial institutions around the world, with opportunities for advancement into a variety of roles both within and outside of our development organization.

What you will be doing

You will be serving as the Software Development Scrum Team facilitator. You will be leveraging Agile principles to ensure adherence to the theory, practices, and rules of Scrum. You will primarily be responsible for:

Supporting Product Owners by utilizing collaborative techniques and communication strategies for efficient backlog management.

Promoting self-organizing, cross-functional techniques in the production of high-value products.

Supporting Scrum teams by removing impediments to protect sprint goals.

Facilitating Scrum ceremonies as requested or needed, maintains time-box ceremonies.

Practicing the core agile principles in collaboration, prioritization, accountability.

Promoting continuous improvement throughout the product cycle.

Facilitating sprint demos, planning and retrospectives.

Providing status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedules, resources and milestone delivery.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree required

Strong mediation and negotiation skills

Excellent organizational, communications, problem-solving and people skills

Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts

Added bonus if you have:
Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master preferred
