Our Pet Segment is searching for an E-Commerce Manager with 5+ yearsâ experience in our Neptune City, NJ facility. This person will oversee E-Commerce related activities including site content and taxonomy, e-commerce assortment and variation management, content requests and project management, PIM tool, pricing, direct-to-consumer, promotion planning and ongoing reporting for Nylabone, Four Paws, IMS and TFH Publications.
This role will sit on the Digital Marketing/E-Commerce Team supporting outlined business KPIs including customer page views, conversion, sales/share growth, ROI and profit. The ideal candidate is an E-Commerce expert with e-retail experience on both the brand side and buying side. This person should be well versed in retail basics, E-Commerce trends, site tools and reporting tools. They think big, multi-task, work smart, are analytical, organized, detailed, innovative and entrepreneurial.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
- Own the e-commerce channel, including consumer experience, management of assortment, content strategy, analytics, reporting, merchandising and growth strategy
- Manage internal marketing & sales requests for digital assets, track sales/share growth and branded site KPIs
- Track promotional activities and spend, provide actional insights and ongoing improvements
- Manage all reporting of e-commerce financials, provide insights and learnings to the leadership team monthly
- Track omni-channel and pure play assortment and monitor site changes
- Own new item launches and corresponding marketing/merchandising initiatives, ensuring clear execution
- Own Consumer Reviews tools and coordination with Reputation Management
- Own assortment pricing and monitoring, and coordinate with inventory management as needed
- Own PIM content entry, updates and ongoing management
- Own site taxonomy and competitor site analysis
- Own e-tailer PDPs and PLPs, ensuring best in class content and ongoing updates
- Own onsite consumer experience of branded sites, including product listings and taxonomy
- Ensure optimization of all internal initiatives on direct-to-consumer branded sites
- Partner cross-functionally with digital marketing, copy, creative, brand marketing, inventory management, forecasting, sales, reputation management, and other teams to provide visibility, transparency and efficiency with project work
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with e-commerce
- Deep understanding of E-Commerce space, the start-up environment, overall trends and technology
- Ability to independently learn new tools/technology, leveraging trends to support the business
- Ability to work cross-functionally with strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment in a highly visible role
- Intellectual curiosity and thirst for innovation and success
- Highly organized, accurate, quick learner, proactive and have a positive attitude
- Knowledge of the pet space preferred
- Previous experience with site migrations a plus
