Director of Operations

ATI-AC Martin, Inc. d.b.a ATI Architects + Engineers is looking for a driven Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day management of the Business Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience within the A/E/C industry. Licensure as an Architect is highly desirable.

This is a high-profile position that requires tact, diplomacy, and demonstrated senior level soft skills, combined with strong financial and quantitative competency.

Primary Responsibilities

• ATI Business Unit Profit and Loss Responsibility
• Together with AC Martin’s CFO, develop annual revenue and profit targets
• General responsibility for Business Unit AR and cash flow
• Effectively communicate financial reports and Business Unit financial status to ATI Business Unit Principals
• Project administration and project management staffing and assignments
• Create, revise, formalize, and train staff on process and procedures
• Specific project management and personal generation of new business
• Business Unit related HR responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting, salary negotiation, conflict resolution, due process and employee termination
• Interface with clients should project issues arise.
• Facilities management (space allocation and layout, office lease negotiations when appropriate, etc.…)
• Oversight of IT and technology initiatives
• Strategic planning and action facilitation

Recurring Activities (Daily/Weekly/Monthly/etc.…)

• Run weekly operations meetings with PM team
• Participate in weekly BD meetings with leadership team
• Executive Committee Meetings
• Weekly review of relevant timesheets
• Weekly review of project financial reports
• Monthly review of financial reports (variance, WIP, P&L) to facilitate financial close
• Impromptu meetings with PMs to adjust project performance
• Annual performance reviews

Salary: DOE
