Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Director of Finance to drive our organization’s financial operations and improve financial performance. Duties for the Finance Director will include supervising accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, developing financial strategy, monitoring expenditure, monitoring cash flow, and managing tax compliance.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Directing financial planning and strategy
  • Analyzing and reporting on financial performance
  • Overseeing audit and tax functions
  • Developing and implementing accounting policies
  • Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets
  • Training accounting staff
  • Reviewing departmental budgets
  • Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk
  • Analyzing complex financial data
  • Managing internal controls

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 8-10 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency in accounting software, QBO preferred
  • Financial management experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Broad knowledge of accounting principles
  • Bilingual, English and Mandarin a plus!
