Director of Design

Summary:
The Director of Design is responsible for assisting the Sr. Director Bus Dev Design in establishing and
maintaining policy and procedure relating to facility planning and design; developing internal design standards;
providing for internal interdepartmental and external brand interface; assisting with contracting and qualifying of
consultants; provide project management on internal and external brands to take projects from schematic
design and 30% design development to working drawings.
Essential Functions:
 Provides a full range of professional management services required to support a multi-million dollar
design/build department
 Oversees design consultants developing 30% design documents and final construction drawings
 Assist in establisheing department standards for professional design/engineering services
 Provides information to estimating department to establish budget parameters for projects
 Maintains continuous interface with vendor community for merchandising materials
 Provides design support to standardize basic merchandising materials and finishes
 Provides project management support of internal concept finishes, equipment, and operating
requirements
 Provides support in the development and maintenance of new and existing concepts
