In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Director, Professional Services to continue the development and growth of our practice within the Plex Professional Services team that encompass three primary objectives:
- Collaboration with our sales teams to develop and close new subscription opportunities and professional services bookings to achieve aggressive quarterly and annual targets; further develop opportunities in existing customer accounts to achieve higher levels of customer satisfaction and adoption of Plex solutions.
- Execution of Consulting Services delivery, tracking, and reporting for enterprise customers to achieve customer satisfaction, utilization and revenue goals
- Build, evolve, grow, and lead the practice according to needs and requirements of our customers and Plex business demands
Reporting to the VP, Professional Services, this position can be located in either our Troy, MI headquarters. A remote working situation will be considered for highly qualified candidates. Additional responsibilities include the following:
- Develop and close new and recurring business with enterprise account customers to support company subscription and Professional Services bookings targets.
- Develop relationships with key customers and provide professional services that support customers in all stages of their lifecycle.
- Ensure the Professional Services practice achieves company goals with continued achievement of the utilization, revenue and margin targets of the business.
- Build, develop and retain high performing teams that drive value to our customers.
- Collaborate with Professional Services and Partner teams to develop rigorous project controls and practices to help assure cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Ensure that all Plex implementation projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; negotiate changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines.
- Advise leadership and/or business executives at the highest levels about the project portfolio, status and resource planning.
- Develop and implement new methodologies, process and procedures that will support Plex enterprise customers, implementations and customer satisfaction goals.
- Build, develop and retain high performing teams that lead positive contributions throughout the company including career development, incentive and performance management.
- Become knowledgeable in the features, benefits and application of Plex solutions and effectively communicate customer requirements to the product teams.
- Seek and share information within the Plex team and respond to concerns with timely, meaningful, fact-based, and constructive feedback.
- Foresee potential problems and takes corrective action to ensure achievement of goals.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years’ experience leading high-performing teams in Consulting, Program Management and Information Technology
- 5+ years’ experience in consulting sales and/or business development
- 5+ years’ experience in an embedded Professional Services organization
- Experience selling Technical Services, Education Services, and Premium Support Services
- Deep experience in Salesforce and related tools
- Proven experience managing and developing forecast and related reporting
- Proven ability to overachieve on aggressive bookings and revenue targets
- Experience working in a consulting organization and has a thorough understanding of solution delivery, program management, process management and technology risk assessment
- Experience developing and managing teams of professionals in the consulting environment
- Clear and concise in communicating information, with the ability to actively listen to what others are saying
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in an effective manner
- Passion for customer satisfaction
- B.A./B.S. in Supply chain, Information technology, business or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
