Our corporate headquarters, located in the Laurel/Savage area, is currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Contracts Director in the Landover, MD area. The Deputy Contract Director will oversee the mail screening facility and the support services contract. This position calls for high attention to detail which allows for 100% accuracy rating of inbound and outbound mail processing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Provide excellent service to client.

· Function as a liaison between the Contractor and client

· Ensure that all contractual goals and SLA’s are achieved

· Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment and supplies

· Provide training to all employees’ as required

· Ensures routine maintenance of equipment is performed, and participate in system changes to accommodate increased workload and organizational changes

· Ensure that adequate personnel are available to accomplish required work, and initiate replenishment actions for expendable supplies

· Resolve working level complaints and/or problems, and other operational problems within the scope of responsibility.

· Ensure SOW deliverables and targets are met

· Recommends Service Enhancements & Value add

· Continually benchmark operating costs to ensure competitive advantage in marketplace

· Initiate communication and problem solving with regard to client concerns

· Previous experience in Mail Screening operations, Xray and CBN screening experience preferred.

· Familiarity with accountable mail processing is essential

· Familiarity with SqBx or other accountable system a must

· Provide customer service that includes processing mail for all couriers such as USPS, FedEx, UPS, International packages, as well as servicing incoming and outgoing mailstops

Requirements:

· 5+ year’s previous managerial experience

· HS Diploma required, College degree preferred

· Excellent computer skills, Excel spreadsheet applications a must

· Advanced customer service skills, professional attitude and appearance

· Strong organizational skills including administrative record keeping and time management

· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision and have self-initiative
