Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager. The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for cultivating a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, implementing work processes and tools to maximize the value we deliver to our customers, advance employee effectiveness and satisfaction, and increase company profit. Additionally, the CI Manager is responsible for ongoing Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the Strategic and Long-Range Business plans: Work with the leadership team to codify the company’s strategy in a One-Page plan. Using this guide, develop tactical plans to implement the strategy and measure progress toward the desired outcomes.

Process mapping with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Development for Sales, Operations and Finance: Map the key processes of each function and across functions, establish KPIs and implement continuous improvements on an ongoing basis. Includes policies, procedures and work instruction documentation.

Oversee process and business tool change implementations: Lead change projects either directly or by use of an implementation team. Identify and engage high-potential employees to lead projects with oversight. Provide change management and process improvement training to employees.

Lead Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage FP&A Function including business operating forecasts, cash forecasts, risk management and variance analysis. Oversee annual financial planning process and monthly operating forecast updates. Identify reasons for deviations from plans and work with leaders to get results back on track.

Business Analytics: Ensure the reliability and integrity of data used to measure, display, analyze and inform decisions related to business processes. Use financial information to constructively challenge business activity, enhance value to our customers, increase profitability, and improve efficiency. Includes financial modelling and development of future business models.

Supply chain/logistics: Work with operations teams to ensure correct materials are available when needed while keeping overall inventory levels to a minimum. Establish and oversee Inventory Control systems.

Teamwork: interacts effectively with other members of the company; establishes a culture of accountability in managing the business; wins trust within the Company community.

Leadership: Partner with CFO and Controller to lead the Finance department. Help build a culture of trust and accountability that reflects the Company’s core values.

  • Rentals Fleet and Transaction management C.I. Project – document “as is” process, develop “to be” process, identify gaps and needed tools to correct gaps & implement quick wins
  • Codify Strategic Plan in one-page plan format. Develop initial long-range business plans with stakeholders along with success measures
  • Develop Continuous Improvement Project Plan and force-rank 2020 projects
  • Identify change management business drivers and provide training in process improvement methodologies
  • Take over annual planning and operating forecast responsibilities using DynamicBudgets
