Are you ready for your next big career move?

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead the Union Bank and PurePoint Voice and Visual Identity function. As the leader and mentor of a team of 3-5 employees who will drive retail visual assets, merchandising, ATM surrounds, and creative design. You will also spearhead the overall visual identity of our Branches. The team will also handle activities related to our brand voice in client communications and all relevant communications. You will become a relationship manager to all vendors and monitor platforms in support of this channel. Establish solid working relationships with key partners across the bank such as corporate real estate, facilities, operations and branch banking. You will provide support to the sales team for retail sales campaigns and work closely with the marketing strategists to deliver motivating and simple campaigns.

Major Responsibilities:
  • You will establish close and strategic advisory partnerships with the relationship managers to support specific lines of business.
  • Craft a plan to convert all existing client communications to adhere to the Union Bank or Pure Point voice guides as well as provide ongoing governance for new communications.
  • Support all local marketing efforts with marketing assets.
  • Handle branded items inventory and platform.
  • Develop effective and innovative consumer and small business visual identity programs that enhance the Bank’s visibility and brand reputation.
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists, brand experience, public relations, and research/innovation teams to deliver solutions that maximize the return on our marketing investment.
  • Lead the retail branch marketing efforts for customer-facing messages (merchandising) and internal sales campaigns to support sales goals across the retail network.
  • Your team will develop visual identity guidelines for branches and admin space and watch over merchandising system and the program.
  • You will also craft merchandising messages for the Regional Bank aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications:


Do you have the following experience?

  • Bachelor’s degree required; M.B.A. preferred.
  • You have strong management and oversight capabilities.
  • Consistent record of success in developing, championing, and stewarding fully integrated programs and teams.
  • Balanced leadership style that allows for both highly strategic leadership skills with the ability to be hands-on and lead by example.
  • Prior experience running bank programs and merchandising initiatives.
  • Create ways to utilize data to streamline various marketing efforts.
  • Contribute to visual identity and voice strategy.
  • Develop vendor partnerships to support merchandising and creative initiatives to enhance company’s brand perception.
  • Experience running merchandising programs including digital.
  • You have powerful communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to convey an inspiring message to large groups as well as one-on-one settings.
  • Experienced people, project, and organizational manager.
  • You have a strong balance of strategic and business skills, with a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thought.
