VICE PRESIDENT – PARTICIPANT CARE AND CENTER SERVICES

The VP of Participant Care and Center Services leads and works collaboratively with all members of the operational and clinical team to plan and implement strategies, goals, policies, programs and processes to deliver coordinated, integrated participant/caregiver-centered, care and services. Provides proactive direction and oversight for day-to-day operations that support the needs of participants, caregivers and employees. Leads continuous improvement initiatives as indicated to deliver desired outcomes. Proactively communicates and provides performance coaching to foster a mission-focused, values-based culture that attracts and retains the most caring, competent highly engaged team members.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for ensuring the highest quality care and services are provided to participants and caregivers using a collaborative team approach. Ensures care and services are reliable, consistent and coordinated.
  • Accountable for Clinical and Center operational plans, goals, metrics, outcomes, staffing, productivity, budgets, resource allocation and financial responsibility. Tracks and reports key metrics (i.e., participant satisfaction, clinical outcomes, etc.) as indicated.
  • Establish and implement a standardized approach to Clinical and Center operations. Initiates innovative improvement to care and services.
  • Provides continual leadership, coaching and guidance to the management teams to ensure clarity of goals/purpose, consistency in philosophy, modeling behaviors for desired culture, proactive communication to achieve organizational/divisional goals.
  • Partners with leaders and staff to integrate high quality proactive clinical care/services with effective utilization of medical services using a coordinated interdisciplinary team approach (PCT & IDT).
  • Continually focuses on improvement opportunities to meet the changing demands of a growing company. Oversight of technology solutions that support initiatives across Clinical and Center operations.
  • Facilitates and collaborates with key leaders and team members from all disciplines to enhance service delivery, provide proactive clinical care, ensure reliable standardized Center Operations; process improvement/LEAN techniques to deliver on established goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all CMS, Medicaid or other applicable and PACE specific regulatory requirements for Clinical Care and Center Operations.
  • Participates in the development, planning and implementation of new Centers, services, programs and partnerships as indicated.
  • Other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required. Clinician preferred (RN, SW, PT, OT, etc.).
  • Master’s Degree preferred in Business Management, Industrial Engineering or related Healthcare field.
  • Knowledge of PACE or working with seniors preferred.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a Healthcare related field.
  • Knowledge/Trained in Performance Improvement tools (i.e. LEAN, CAP Workout, etc.)
  • Extensive operations management experience required.
  • Experience leading more than one location preferred.
  • Managed Care/Insurance knowledge preferred.
