The Vice President of Operations is responsible for the administrative supervision over several behavioral health services. The incumbent administers and coordinates the leadership and operations of several clinical divisions to ensure proper management and effective operation of the delivery of patient care services in accordance with behavioral health standards and departmental policies and procedures. Responsibility involves coordinating ancillary, support and community services as well as direct patient care services. Supervision is exercised over a number of professional, supervisory, technical and/or clerical personnel. Performs related work as required.
Building partnership relationships. Build and maintain critical external relationships with hospitals, systems, associations, professional societies, and organizations we call Strategic Partners.
Being a strong organizational leader. Manage, lead, and develop relationships within Rogers Behavioral Health (RBH), a complex, matrixed organization. This leader will own all work within their facilities will have responsibility for managing a team of professionals. Strong relationships with other RBH leaders and teams, as well as staff throughout the organization, are required to be successful as the Administrator.
Being a proven manager with a track record of getting results. Establish goals and objectives and measure, set and achieve targets as developed. Will scan for and establish new partnerships and opportunities, and will work with the RBH Business Development team to recommend and drive new and existing business concepts. Experience with vetting and guiding the set-up of new programs, projects, products, grants, and contracts will be necessary.

1. Master’s Degree strongly preferred in Hospital, Public or Business Administration and 15 years healthcare experience OR
2. Bachelor’s Degree in a business or clinical discipline and fifteen (15) years’ experience in management or administrative capacity in a hospital or health care facility/agency, five years of which was management or administration of the delivery of clinical or technical services to patients, and two of which must have been at a supervisory level.
3. Requires behavioral health care management and operational experience with a focus on improving the quality and safety of care.
4. Requires strategic experience within a hospital setting, hospital system, or association.
5. Responsible for helping a company to achieve financial goals and objectives and increase operating performance. Prepares budgets, creates businesses plans, and solves internal issues as they arise.
6. Be flexible, to adjust to changing conditions and to effectively address the challenges of the position.
7. Must be able to demonstrate experience and skills in motivation of employees for peak performance and creative thinking regarding departmental operations.
8. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
9. Ability to effectively use computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments.
10. Position requires walking, sitting and standing. Lifting is moderate; must be capable of lifting a minimum of 20 pounds. Reaching, handling, gasping, and manual dexterity are necessary to operate various pieces of office equipment.
11. Be physically/mentally able to perform job duties as verified by a physical exam by a licensed physician, per post-employment physical.
