VICE PRESIDENT, INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT
Lake Superior Consulting, LLC, a Shawcor Company, headquartered in Duluth, MN, is a team consisting of Engineers, Technicians and Support Specialists committed to providing a premier level of service to our customers in the pipeline industry. We provide many services to the pipeline industry, including but not limited to: Engineering Design and Project Management, Integrity Management, Welding Inspection, Coating Inspection, Survey, Quality Control, Inline Inspection, and Cathodic Protection.
LAKE SUPERIOR CONSULTING is currently growing at a fast pace and as part of that growth, we are seeking to fill a key leadership position in our regional office in Houston, Texas. The Vice President of Integrity Management is a key member of LSC’s Senior Leadership team, overseeing several operational groups within LSC’s Integrity Management Program. This role is responsible for setting strategic vision of the Integrity Management Program, growing business with existing clients, pursuing new business and service development, and solidifying LSC’s position in the marketplace through active participation. This position will serve as a role model in support of LSC’s process and performance excellence efforts in order to achieve high quality and ongoing improvements for our clients. The individual in this role works directly with LSC’s Vice President and General Manager and other senior leaders to ensure company goals are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide leadership in‐line with the needs of the Integrity Management team and the mission and vision of the company.

- Responsible for projecting and driving profitability through collaboratively established business
goals and objectives.
- Responsible for development, communication, and implementation of effective growth and process strategies.
- Motivate and lead a high‐performance leadership team that attracts, recruits, and retains talented employees; provide mentoring to senior‐level management staff in support of their career development.
- Work closely with direct reports to ensure they’re aligned with the goals of the Integrity Management team and the overall organization.
- Support the Integrity Management Director staff to ensure resource needs are met.
- Develop new and unique ways to drive efficiencies, improve operations of the organization, and to create new opportunities.
- Ensure safety records are maintained by demonstrating health and safety as a priority for self and team.
- Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control and mitigate such risks.
- Interpret and predict industry needs, via active engagement in visible forums, to ensure direction aligns with current and anticipated future state.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of oil and gas pipeline industry professional experience required.
- Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience required.
- Strong understanding of LSC’s Integrity Management service lines and overall operations.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (CFR, ASME, NACE, etc.)
- Proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally, to achieve the goals of the organization.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dissect problems and quickly develop solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‐functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
- Skilled in organizational development, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with mechanical integrity, reliability, and/or operations & maintenance programs preferred.
