You are a talented, accomplished Vice President, Human Resources to lead the development and execution of human resources strategies in order to support Virgin Pulse meeting our business critical objectives for immediate and long-term growth. This HR leader will drive the global HR innovation and strategies which will help to propel the business forward.


In the role of
Vice President, HR for Virgin Pulse you will wear many hats but your focus will be crucial in the following:

  • Lead the development and execution of Human Resources strategies globally for Virgin Pulse
  • Responsible for ensuring the effective “delivery” of all HR programs and services for global employee population.
  • Responsible for HR results in the business, including client satisfaction, HR effectiveness and associated financial results.
  • Establish, build and maintain strong relationships with key HR partners from all Centers of Excellence to ensure elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs; includes relationship management, leadership, HR roles/responsibilities, and service delivery commitments.
  • Ensure the delivery and integration of services across the organization in order to meet the needs of the business.
  • Develop, direct and implement HR strategy to meet organizational needs that have a broad impact on larger or multiple segments of the business.
  • Be the ambassador of the HR organization to represent the services and resources available to the business and help manage the collective reputation of the HR organization as a whole.


Position Accountability/Scope
  • Understand business issues and dynamics, and is able to determine HR implications.
  • Translate business objectives into human resources strategies and tactics.
  • Identify organization capability gaps and develops HR strategies/solutions.
  • Provide consultation on organization design / structure issues to ensure optimal performance.


Core Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure the effective delivery of HR services to the respective client groups across multiple locations globally.
  • Consult with business leaders to develop, evaluate and execute HR strategies related to compensation, talent acquisition, talent development, organizational design, etc.
  • Responsible for the development and leadership of HR staff supporting the assigned client areas.
  • Partner with functional HR colleagues to ensure the right solutions are executed for the respective client groups.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate Policies and procedures.


What you bring to the team.
  • BA, BS degree required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive relevant experience in HR or a related field.
  • Experience in transitioning an HR function from tactical to strategic and results oriented.
  • Successful demonstration of launching and implementing multiple HR programs.
  • Global HR experience across multiple organizations / sites
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in a fast paced, multi-tasking, and dynamic organization along with significant influence/negotiation/coaching skills with senior-level executives.
  • Experience leading HR strategy for large, complex Multinational Corporation of 2500 employees or more
  • A creative and innovative approach to problem solving that balances the strategic goals of the company with the objectives of the client organization and solid human resource practices and principles.
  • A track record of developing a more inclusive and diverse workforce and workplace.
