This position is located in Arlington, Virginia supporting the Department of State and is assigned to provide the below described services in support of the migration of the SharePoint environment from SP2010 to SP2016. The overall responsibility of the positon is to serve as the SharePoint Lead over a team of four SharePoint Developers, Administrators, and Content Managers. The position will also spearhead the planning and execution of the SharePoint migration to SP2016 as well as take on other projects as assigned.

- Participate in project planning activities including requirements gathering, requirements analysis, resource planning, and infrastructure planning. ;
- Support DOSâs strategy for the project using a deep understanding of SharePoint 2016. ;
- Provide technical detail for SDLC, privacy, and security documentation.
- Liaise with engineers and system architects.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Coordinate the daily work of a small group of developers. ;
- Create flowcharts, wire diagrams, and slides to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiences. ;
- Demonstrate prototypes and concepts for technical and non-technical audiences. ;
- Some coding and SharePoint configuration may be necessary. ;
- Lead, mentor, and guide teammates as necessary ;
- Ability to prioritize across various tasks and cope with changes in daily workload
- Recommend adding knowledge of Office 365. Azure Information Protection (AIP) would be useful as well
