Role Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers have our most innovative and reliable transportation products. Working with a continuous improvement mindset, and with a cross functional team, you will a id in planning and drive product migration & execution. Delivering with quality and on time. You will be providing feedback and subject matter expertise for development of our modernized product platforms, assisting with gap analysis between legacy and modern products, be a voice of and for the customer and support a continuous improvement approach to the business.
Major responsibilities:
– Lead and work side by side with other project managers, product managers, engineering, manufacturing and field service, to execute highly complex projects.
– Provide oversight, collaboration and leadership to ensure the project team is executing the project in accordance with schedule, cost, performance and quality commitments.
– Coordinate staffing with Engineering and Field Service teams and provide insight on risks, options, cost/benefit analysis, and impacts related to projects.
– Be the single point of contact for the customer and internal stakeholders to ensure a swift and smooth execution process.
– Shepherd customers through product deployment to ensure seamless customer experience.
– Drive and document process improvement in the project management processes and provide/implement best practices for project management.
– Manage, coordinates and coach Technical Project Managers to ensure timely execution of projects within a program.
– Utilize technical, organizational and communication skills to ensure compliance with PM policies and procedures.
– Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.
– Drive adoption of agile and lean approaches to project execution.
