Are you an experienced and dynamic leader looking for the next step? Zions Bank is looking for a strategic leader to lead and develop the talent in the Salt Lake Metro Region!

  • Responsible for the profitability and operations of a group of branches and branch managers including the management, solicitation, and development of all types of lending, sales and service activities within a specified region.
  • Sets goals including budgets and production goals.
  • Ensures budgets are met and focuses on revenue generation and expense control.
  • Creates strategic market plans for each geographic market within the region.
  • Responsible for the strategic direction and execution of those directions.
  • Responsible for community development and relations.
  • Prepares, monitors and tracks area reports.
  • Guides, manages, and directs the activities of subordinates, including assistant manager training program and functions of assigned area.
  • Analyzes and organizes area operations and procedures.
  • Monitors and evaluates area production.
  • Revises or creates procedures to improve efficiency of region.
  • Supervises the regional operations managers and sales managers.
  • As chair of regional executive management committee, works with and supports all business lines to assist with meeting goals.
  • Leads region employee development and coaching.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or a related field and 6+ years in the banking industry, lending and/or finance or other directly related experience, management experience required.
  • Motivational, budgeting and project management experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking, lending, revenue generation, cost control, banking products, services, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Strong management, judgment, community development and public relations skills required.
  • Ability to resolve problems and manage budgets.
  • Requires a considerable working knowledge of other related fields and the ability to apply that information to current role.
