Job Summary: The Vice President of Regional Sales provides the execution of strategic business objectives to included, but not limited to sales, profitability, customer services, management, store operations, and merchandising. This include managing district managers and their sales force and working cross functionally with the field and corporate office in developing and implementing key strategic initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manages overall sales and financial performance for assigned region of higher volume and more geographic diversified districts to include, but not limited to top line sales, bottom line profitability, and establishing and managing key performance standards.
  • Drives financial and customer results.
  • Works cohesively with Operations.
  • Works cross-functionally with the field and corporate office executing strategic initiatives.
  • Creates period sales budget and implements key strategic initiatives in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Field Operations.
  • Ensures execution of the company’s selling program in each market.
  • Provides leadership, direction, and mentorship to assigned District Managers.
  • Conducts scheduled Regional Sales meetings.
  • Conducts weekly District Manager conference calls.
  • Travels with District Managers in Region at least once a quarter.
  • Creates a talent bench by developing new and existing partners.
  • Ensures District Managers are following policies and procedures.
  • Enforces company administrative standards are followed to include, but not limited to payroll, cash handling, bank deposits, and store assignment responsibilities.
  • Develops and implements market strategies to negate competitor efforts.
  • Identifies opportunities and develops action plans in conjunction with the District Manger.
  • Performs coaching and provides reviews at least annually.
  • Monitors inventory shrink levels in assigned region.
  • Inspects company store appearance standards in assigned region.
  • Assists District Managers with new store openings, remodels, and closings.
  • Ensures District Managers maintains quality of life for the sales partners including, but not limited to recognition programs.
  • Partners with Marketing Department on regional marketing/advertising strategies and reviews effectives.
  • Reviews and provides feedback on store level sku performance to include, but not limited to proper pricing strategies and current merchandising plan.
  • Participates in company-sponsored training programs promoting personal and professional growth.
  • Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by supervisor and/or Senior Management.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree Business, related field, and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • Master’s Degree preferred

Professional Experience

  • 7+ Years Retail Experience required And
  • 5+ Years Managerial Experience required And
  • 3+ Years Working Cross Functional with Stores Experience required And
