Job overview and responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing the life cycles of multiple employee communications projects. Help to build and maintain client relationships. Create and maintain project scopes, timelines, budgets, resources and mitigate risks. Manage and prioritize multiple enterprise level projects simultaneously. Collaborate when needed with the digital and print teams to deliver high quality and efficient implementations to clients.

Project manage all Creative Services print efforts.
  • Manage complex projects, timelines, budgets and resources needed to complete requests.
  • Gather and understand client requirements, project goals and desired strategic outcomes.
  • Review and oversee monthly client billing reports. Provide forecasting information to the Creative Services Finance Analyst for new and ongoing projects.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks. Includes projects and resource management for the print and digital teams. Trouble-shoot and resolve issues.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously including the intranet site, external sites, iOS/Android apps, HTML emails, info graphics, signage, etc.
  • Build and maintain client relationships. Understand clients’ lines of business and communicate information accurately and effectively between the clients and the print and digital teams.
  • Collaborate with resources on the immediate team as well as subject matter experts from other (United and vendor) creative and production assets.
  • Coordinate and uphold relationships with strategic partners, technology project managers, external vendors and numerous internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with dedicated resources to ensure that results are consistent with the brand standards, technical specifications and established project requirements.
  • Establish alignment and execute against legal, brand and editorial standards and processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams in a creative environment and foster open communication. Highly developed relationship management skills with clients and internal staff. Interact with all levels of client management, including the Executive level.
  • Understand a variety of digital concepts, methodologies and tools and demonstrates in-depth technical knowledge.
  • Supervise contract project resources as required. Train resources on processes.
  • Reporting and post-project analysis
  • At project close, send out surveys to clients, analyze actual vs. estimated costs and archive.
  • Hold project debrief sessions internally and with select clients. Look for areas for continuous improvement and lead implementation. Reporting and post-project analysis.
Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a project manager, producer or account executive.
  • Project management knowledge (manage resources, budgets, timelines, scopes, information/content flow).
  • Relies heavily on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Analytical thought process with high integrity.
  • Execution and process oriented, forward thinking, diligent and creative.
  • Capacity to deliver against quality, timing and cost targets.
  • Trustworthy with confidential information.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects.

  • MS Project or similar project management software.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred
  • Previous work experience at an agency or large corporation a plus, but not required.
  • 5 years of professional experience preferred.
