Project Manager – Technical Glass Products – Snoqualmie, WA
The Project Manager uses their excellent communication skills to manage fire-rated and architectural frame projects, and associated customer service issues by becoming the customer’s primary post-sale contact. The range of projects may include all product types offered by Technical Glass Products (TGP), including but not limited to, Designer, Heat Barrier, Curtainwall, Hardwood, Aluminum Series, as well as TGP Architectural products such as Neoparies and Profilit. Though primarily responsible for a single territory or region grouping, the Project Manager will also backup others in the department when needed.

What You Will Do:
- Manage customer relationship post-sale.
- Administer each Project through entire lifecycle including but not limited to:
- Creating Order Entry.
- Submitting drawings, product data, and samples to customer as needed for approval.
- Interpreting construction drawings, architectural drawings, and mechanical drawings; applying knowledge of best practices for drafting.
- Receiving, interpreting, and communicating revisions or requests for change with internal teams and with client.
- Controlling potential change orders.
- Notifying customer of schedule changes and any related impact.
- Releasing orders to production team and leading team meeting(s) as needed.
- Reconciling and collecting any prepayments required up to time of final invoice.
- Coordinating release of shipment with in-house logistics group.
- Monitoring and reporting on project status at various points in lifecycle.
- Resolve post-delivery issues (Customer Service Issues) including but not limited to:
- Listen to and document complaint from customer.
- Work interdepartmentally as needed to identify root cause.
- Interpret data to determine if customer should be charged.
- Manage and document all costs associated with post-delivery issues.
- Other responsibilities include:
- Backup other Project Managers as necessary.
- Work with vendors or third party supply chain partners as necessary.
- Attend and present information in production meetings.
- Schedule and attend site visits if required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma (or equivalent); Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or supply chain preferred.
- 6+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, construction or a related customer service environment. Successful candidates will have experience in scheduling; managing multiple competing projects with life cycles of several weeks to several months; and providing detailed technical expertise in troubleshooting complex mechanical/electrical systems.
- Attention to detail – carefully monitor and organize records; ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data.
- Communication and influence – listens with objectivity and checks for understanding. Effectively transfers thoughts and expresses ideas using speech, listening and writing skills to influence others or gain their support.

- Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer and a keyboard for extended periods of time on most or all workdays; the employee is also required to use a telephone throughout the workday as needed to conduct business. In addition, the individual in this job will be working under time pressure and must be able to perform under stress. They must be able to work rapidly for long periods and to communicate and interact with others. They also must be able to perform multiple concurrent tasks, read and comprehend the material they read. They must be able to write, problem solve, and they must be able to lift and move up to 20 pounds. 40+ hours per week will typically be necessary to accomplish performance objectives and to provide satisfactory job presence and/or responsiveness.
