BASIC FUNCTION


Primary Responsibility:
The Manager of Projects is responsible of creating and maintaining an information technology project plan that communicates tasks, milestone dates, and status and resource allocation. Utilize software life-cycle methodology. Coordinate delivery of development (beta) and production releases that meet quality assurance standards. Assist technical team in design and development tasks. Assist test team in creating test plans and testing efforts.

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree or equivalent experience from Military or Tech School.
  • Management business courses, seminars, workshops helpful.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) desired.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

5+ years project management in technology industry, preferably output & document solutions / services. Disciples of (2 or more) project management and service delivery.

Experience in the following areas required:

  • Must be a strategic thinker in combination with ‘hands-on’ mentality and skills and a strong instinct to drive innovation and creativity.
  • Strong multi-tasker with project management experience.
  • Excellent written communicator with understanding of how to interface, communicate and collaborate with global cultures.
  • Team builder with strong collaboration skills
  • Have a willingness to work cross-functionally with others.
  • Must be highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple assignments and operate effectively in a fast paced environment.
