This role serves as the project manager for PF Growth Partners (PFGP) to document and complete all pre-opening questions that may arise in regard to the real estate, construction and opening of clubs. The Pre-Opening Project Manager will be responsible for documenting and maintaining data generated through the development process. This position will work with all aspects of PFGPâs business to assure all SOPâs are followed and documented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interact with all new and existing franchisees in order to assist in directing their questions to the proper departments within Plant Fitness as needed.
- Maintain internal database by tracking the pre-opening timeline and keeping all development timelines up to date.
- Obtain Franchise club updates by phone, email, conference calls, etc.
- Interface between vendors and franchisees for various pre-opening steps.
- Acquire club opening documents and administer website club openings.
- Maintain detailed and accurate contact information and logins for Franchisees and Franchise contacts.
- Collaborate with and support various departments (IT, Marketing, Operations, Legal) on pre-opening processes.
- Create email addresses and Franchise Management usernames for franchisees, managers, vendors and corporate personnel.
- Add new locations to http://www.PlanetFitness.com and maintain basic club content.
- Collect and manage various paperwork related to Franchise Agreements, Leases, and Amendments
- Run reports linked to the database for operations, finance, and marketing upon request.
Qualifications/Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a project management or customer service role.
- Basic understanding of analysis
- Excellent Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills are required
- Ability to speak professionally and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to be firm and concise in all communications.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Must be very organized and able to multi-task.

Physical Demands
- Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers in activities such as typing, filing, pinching, and grasping.
- Sedentary office work, sitting majority of the time with occasional repetitive standing, bending, and twisting.
- Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 25lbs.
- No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (typical office environment).
- Average hearing and voice projection abilities to participate in phone/web communications, one-on-one conversations and large group meetings.
- High visual demand, with ability to view close-up and color documents and spreadsheets, both in print format and on computer screens.
