Job purpose
As a Project Manager at AvidXchange, you will be responsible for managing client software implementations. This will include accurately forecasting project dates, as well as detailed risk analysis. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will be challenged to excel and lead alongside the brightest talent in the industry and be rewarded for your achievements.
Duties and responsibilities
- Managing projects in a complex dynamic environment, with the ability to pivot effectively based on the changing requirements of your clients.
- Ensuring your projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment handling numerous projects at any given time.
- Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent.
- Ability to organize and manage your projects in a way that ensures optimal client experience.
- Easily balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
Desired Skills and Competencies
- A proven track record of excellent project management and client relationship skills.
- Excellent communication and partnership skills, which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes.
- Technical aptitude is a must, understanding the basic database relationships and terminology.
- Proven track record of time management and multitasking skills to be able to ensure that tasks get completed on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- At least 1-3 Years of Project Management experience
- Accounting background a plus, but not a requirement
