Operations Manager

Description:

A wholesale beverage warehouse/office in Commerce, CA is seeking a Manager-on-Duty to coordinate warehouse and office functions to maximize operational efficiencies and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong multi-tasking capability
  • Proficiency in English
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, QuickBooks, Photoshop, web-based platforms
  • Ability to handle, carry, move, pack, and stock up to 50 lbs. as needed
  • Previous Operations/Warehouse experience
  • Previous Sales experience a plus
  • Self-starter

Primary Duties and Areas of Responsibility:

  • Inventory/warehouse administration
  • Keeping solid inventory stock levels
  • Checking all pulled orders for delivery, samples
  • Supervising and validating pallets of incoming and outgoing freight
  • Arranging deliveries, third-party shipments, & drivers’ routes
  • Ensuring and validating delivery efficiencies
  • Performing physical inventory & reconciliation
  • Arranging service/maintenance for equipment/cars
  • Supervising employees
  • Maintaining consistent communication company-wide
  • Supporting the sales team with all the required paperwork, POS, prices, etc.
  • Reporting all transactions and any issues to the main office
  • Office duties
  • Driver’s logs
  • Invoice logs
  • Beverage sample logs
  • Handling deposits
  • Supporting database, updating catalog, price lists, SevenFifty website
  • Other ad-hoc tasks required for routine operations

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year
